6th Lightweighting Summit on April 1, 2025 in Hanover

The 6th Lightweighting Summit of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) will take place at HANNOVER MESSE on April 1, 2025.

Under the motto "Lightweight construction as a driver for innovation and competitiveness," the event brings together leading minds from business, politics, and research to discuss lightweight construction's latest developments and potential. The presentation of outstanding projects from the lightweight construction technology transfer program offers exciting insights into practical innovations.

In addition to inspiring keynote speeches, the interactive panel discussion forms the heart of the summit. Representatives from industries such as aviation, construction, and medical technology will shed light on the diverse applications of lightweight construction and demonstrate its cross-industry innovation potential.

Christine Koblmiller (Editor-in-Chief of "Leichtbauwelt") and Claus-Peter Köth (Editor-in-Chief of "Automobil Industrie") will moderate the event. The current Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister of Economics, Dr. Robert Habeck, will officially open this year's Lightweighting Summit.
