Digital networking in production: German-Dutch ZIM network launched

The ZIM network "Digital Production Networks" is aimed at companies that want to bring innovative products to the European market, especially with new materials.

The bilateral ZIM network "Digital Production Networks" addresses the topics of sustainability, circular economy, and advanced materials and is aimed at manufacturing SMEs in particular.

Digitalization is increasingly becoming the basis for a company's economic success. Digital models, twins, and planning systems can be used to optimize the production processes of one company and several companies in a value chain.

The German-Dutch ZIM network "Digital Production Networks" aims to contribute to digital networking in production and provide SMEs with the tools they will need to market innovative products in the European Union in the future. These include, for example, product passports containing information on the materials used, the CO2 footprint, recyclability, the proportion of recycled materials, and durability.

Thirteen companies, six research institutions, and two material-oriented clusters from Germany and the Netherlands have joined forces to set up various production networks to develop product passports for existing or new products that exceed the state of the art.

With "Digital Production Networks", innos is continuing its long-standing, successful cooperation with the Dutch business development organization Oost NL, thus strengthening German-Dutch cooperation in the fields of recycling, traceability of raw materials and the optimization of production processes across the value chain. A valuable unique selling point in the Central Innovation Program for SMEs!

Prepare your company for a digitalized future in the best possible way and benefit from bilateral expertise in our innovation network.
