"Dual-arm robot" funding project revolutionizes 3D printing

The first research and development (R&D) project has been launched in the DPN network. The companies 3-D.services (Germany) and SENOVI Nederland BV (Netherlands) are working together with innos GmbH and Oost NL as network management on the further development of a dual-arm robot. This innovative solution not only enables large-format 3D prints, but also their direct post-processing on a single platform.
The project is being funded with 70,000 euros as part of the Interreg program "Manufacturing Next Materials" (MNM). The aim is to further develop the technology from TRL6 to TRL7 and to make large-format 3D printing more efficient and economical. innos GmbH is contributing its expertise in innovation management, funding advice and cross-border project coordination to actively support the strategic implementation and market launch.
With this project, we are strengthening international cooperation and the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in global supply chains. Thanks to an innovative business model, companies can use state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies without having to make high upfront investments - they only pay for orders that are actually carried out.
